We CLAIM our baptismal authority. We claim our baptismal and ministerial promises to confront sin and evil, while trusting in the goodness, grace, and transformative power of God.

We RESIST abuses of power. We resist the abuses of power by the State against the Christian Church, other faith traditions, and all vulnerable, marginalized, and oppressed people.

We DENOUNCE oppressive systems. We denounce and seek to dismantle all forms of systemic and structural sin, including (but not limited to): white privilege and racism, authoritarianism, fascism, and tyranny, while working to restore the structures of democracy that allow for the Constitutional freedoms of speech, assembly, and religion.

We PREACH prophetically. We call Christian clergy and congregations to prophetically preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ, recognizing that we must be theological in a political world.

We HOLD one another accountable. We hold each other accountable while also being in collegial support as we navigate the complexities and specific challenges of our ministry contexts.

We RECLAIM the public space. We reclaim the public square and defend sacred spaces against those who use Christian symbols and spaces for purposes that oppose what Jesus Christ taught and for which he died and was resurrected.

We LISTEN to the least of these. We listen to, stand in solidarity with, advocate for, and activate with “the least of these” for substantive changes in policy at the local, state, and national levels.

We MOBILIZE our congregations. We work toward mobilizing our congregations to follow the call of Christ and the biblical mandate for justice and righteousness.

We CONNECT with one another. We create, build, and maintain communities and networks of connectivity and accountability within and beyond this group in order to accomplish these commitments.

Predicamos proféticamente. Llamamos a clero y congregaciones de Cristianos que prediquen proféticamente y enseñen el Evangelio de Jesucristo, reconociendo que tenemos que ser teológicos en un mundo político.

Rendimos cuentas los unos a los otros. Rendimos cuentas los unos a los otros y servimos también con apoyo colegial mientras navegamos las complejidades y desafíos específicos de nuestros contextos ministeriales.

Recuperamos el espacio público. Recuperamos la plaza pública y defendemos espacios sagrados contra los que usan símbolos y espacios cristianos para propósitos que oponen las enseñanzas de Jesucristo, por las que murió y resucitó.

Escuchamos a los marginados. Escuchamos, nos solidarizamos, abogamos, y activamos a aquellos que son marginados, buscando cambios sustanciales en políticas locales, estatales, y nacionales.

Movilizamos a nuestras congregaciones. Trabajamos hacia la movilización de nuestras congregaciones para seguir el llamado de Cristo y el mandato Bíblico para la justicia y la rectitud.

Nos conectamos. Creamos, edificamos, y mantenemos comunidades y redes de conectividad y responsabilidad dentro de y más allá de este grupo para realizar estos compromisos.
